If you are aged between 7 and 18 years this academic year living in the UK.

Imagine making an original film in just 48 Hours. Developing a fresh idea that weaves in our 3 mystery elements. You have the opportunity to really show us what you can do! Grab any technology, a smartphone will do and tell us a story!
This is a challenge and not a competition, if you want to expand and sharpen your skills this is for definitely you. It's a golden opportunity to develop your storytelling and organisational skills and meet a deadline, just as they do in the film industries. All this, and you get to have some fun in the process.

You can take this on all by yourself, if you fancy, or why not gather a few friends to tackle the challenge together? It's a wonderful opportunity to unleash your practical skills and make some lovely memories along the way. You’ll end up with something to be truly proud of, so why not sign up? Enjoy the journey!

You will all receive feedback, shiny medals, certificates and the red carpet will be literally rolled out for the stars that you are!

The Golden Duck Awards are presented to filmmakers that show us something extra special in their films.

About the Challenge
The easy bit...
Teams or solo filmmakers are invited to create an original
4 minute film, from concept to screen in just 48 hours!
The twist...
The films will need to include the three elements that will be randomly allocated at the start of the challenge.
The elements are: an assigned line of dialogue, a character, and a prop.
Your team
You decide who is in your team, or will you go it alone?
Your core team is no larger than 6, any more and things may get complicated. However you can have as many actors as you want and they can be any age, 0-99 years!
Team Leaders
Adults will need to be involved! You will need a Team Leader for the weekend. Check the Team Leader section for more information.
